Introduction
My name is Nikki (Erin Nicole) Fischer. I am a computer programmer by trade
and I have lived in the greater St Louis area all my life.
I love most kinds of music, and even play guitar and percussion instruments and create electronica using tools such as Ableton Live, Reason, and Acid Pro. I love to read fiction (especially short fiction), mostly horror, but I pretty much like all fiction. I read lots of non-fiction also (history, science, gender studies, etc). I write short stories in my occasional spare time (and have a novel I have been adding to for several years) and hope someday to get some of my work published. I also dabble in making computer generated art in various tools (photoshop, after effects, illustrator, bryce, cararra, etc).
On December 6th, 2008, I adopted Lucy from the Humane Society. She is a 5 year old miniature schnauzer. Her previous owner got sick and the daughter's dog did not like other dog's so she had to give her up.
